수호초 秀好草

수호초

수호초는 한국의 고유종 야생화입니다. 
높이는 20~30cm이며, 잎은 좁은 타원형으로 끝이 뾰족합니다. 
꽃은 5월에 피며, 흰색 또는 연분홍색입니다. 수호초는 습기가 많은 곳에 자생하며, 약용으로 사용됩니다.

수호초의 잎은 어긋나기하지만 4-6개가 층으로 모여 달립니다.

수호초의 원줄기는 옆으로 기어 가다가 곧게 서며 녹색이고 처음에는 잔털이 있으나 점차 없어집니다.

수호초는 낮은 지대의 나무 그늘에서 잘 자랍니다.

수호초의 번식방법은 분주 또는  삽목으로 합니다.

수호초는 잔듸나 맥문동,  돌단풍 처럼 바닥에 까는 식물로 식재 합니다.

guardian Reef, Suhocho is a wild flower endemic to Korea. The height is 20-30 cm, and the leaves are narrow oval with pointed ends. Flowers bloom in May and are white or light pink. Suhocho grows naturally in moist places and is used for medicinal purposes. The leaves of the suhocho are alternate, but 4-6 are gathered in layers and run. Suhocho is planted as a grass or as a plant that spreads on the ground, such as a rhododendron or stone maple.
