[하귤, Natsumikan, Amanatsu]

늦봄에서 초여름 사이인 4~6월에 수확하며 카라향과 수확시기가 겹친다. 지름이 10cm 정도로 귤보다 크다.

 

20~30개의 씨를 가지고 있고 껍질이 두꺼워 손으로 직접 까기 어렵다.

 

맛은 매우 시고 쌉싸름한 자몽 맛에 가까우며 까서 바로 먹거나 청을 만들어 에이드를 만들기도 한다.

 

제주도에서 식용으로 재배하기보다 관공서, 도로가 가로수, 관상용으로 많이 재배한다.
